Foreign Minister Ts.Munkh-Orgil meets with Donald Bobiash, Assistant Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Canada

Minister for foreign affairs of Mongolia Ts.Munkh-Orgil received Donald Bobiash, Assitant Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Canada, head of the Mongolia-Canada roundtable meeting, to exchange views on bilateral relations and cooperation between Mongolia and Canada.
Minister Ts.Munkh-Orgil highlighted the positive outcome of the seventh roundtable meeting of Mongolia and Canada took place in Ottawa, Canada in March 2017 and confirmed his readiness to materialize the issues touched upon during the meeting.
Moreover, Minister Ts.Munkh-Orgil noted the parliamentary cooperation between Mongolia and Canada has been intensifying actively and the two countries have the potential to develop bilateral economic cooperation in the fields of tourism and agriculture industries, besides the mining sector.
Also he pointed out the importance of collaboration directed at drawing investment and know how technologies from Canada to Mongolia and expressed his wish to request from Canadian side to train Mongolian students and specialists in Canada.
Afterwards, the dignitaries exchanged views on the current situation of the North East Asia and Minister Ts.Munkh-Orgil invited Canadian delegates to the fourth meeting of Mongolia’s Ulaanbaatar Dialogue initiative, which will be held in Ulaanbaatar in June, 2017.
