Educational and cultural cooperation between Mongolia and Canada
In educational sector, the cooperation between Mongolia and Canada featured in implementing certain agreements which have been concluded between the two universities, encouragement of the Mongolian students to study in Canada and capacity building programs for Mongolian civil servants utilizing Canadian aid package.

The bilateral relations further facilitate based on the framework of the legal documents such as Memorandum of Understanding between the Mineral Recources and Petroleum Authority of Mongolia and Queen’s University at Kingston, Canada on Collaborative Training and Research in Geology and Mining /2007/, Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Construction and Urban Development of Mongolia and Technological University of British Columbia’s school of Construction and Environment /2010/, Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science of Mongolia and the University of British Columbia /2012/, Memorandum of Understanding between the University of Industry of Mongolia and the University of Saskatchewan of Canada /2013/.

Mongolia defines the top 100 Universities in the world to provide scholarship and amongst them, the University of Toronto, University of British Columbia, McGill University, University of Montreal, McMaster Universities are included in the list.

From October 2013, the Study in Canada Fair started to be organized in Mongolia each year and this event is significant for providing fruitful information regarding the possibilities of Mongolian students to study in Canada in diversified fields.

About 300 Mongolian students studying in Canada in the fields of economic, foreign relations, mining, civil aviation through the either Mongolian State Fund,  private company or by their own.
Also, in the sphere of bilateral relations, Mongolian artists participate at the Canadian art festivals with the aim to introduce Mongolian cultural and historical heritage.
