MONGOLIA COOPERATES WITH DALHOUSIE UNIVERSITY

During her visit to Halifax, the capital of Nova Scotia, Canada, from May 6–8, 2026, Ambassador E. Sarantogos met with Dalhousie University President Kim Brooks as well as Professor of the Department of Economics and International Programs Director T.Norovsambuu and some Mongolian students majoring in finance and economics.

During the meeting, the Ambassador discussed expanding cooperation and relations between Dalhousie University and Mongolian universities, as well as increasing opportunities for Mongolian students to study there. She also wished Professor T. Norovsambuu and the Mongolian students continued success.

Dalhousie University is successfully implementing a “2+2” program with the University of Finance and Economics of Mongolia, and currently 17 Mongolian students are studying at the university. The university has four campuses, 13 faculties, and 21,000 students, of whom 23 percent are international students. It is particularly known for training specialists in marine research, health sciences, clean energy, engineering, digital innovation, and economics.
