Ambassador Ariunbold Yadmaa addressed the ICAO Council

Today, Ambassador Ariunbold Yadmaa attended the 228th session of the ICAO Council and addressed the Council on the subject of implementing the Working Paper A41-WP/61 titled “Improving air connectivity in Land locked Developing Countries” presented by Mongolia and sponsored by Armenia and Ethiopia during the 41st Session of the ICAO Assembly.

The Ambassador informed the Council of the formation of Informal Working Group of the LLDCs to ICAO and urged ICAO to conduct the proposed “Aviation Needs Analysis Study of the LLDCs” to better understand the nature and extent of the challenges faced by these group of countries and to give priority in allocating financial resources and other technical and capacity building assistance to LLDCs.

The Council member states expressed their full support of the initiative.
