Canada-Mongolia Parliamentary Group is re-established

An inauguration of the Canada-Mongolia Parliamentary Group was held on 10 May 2023 in the Senate Building. Senator Michèle Audette is chairing the group which involves 18 legislators from both the Senate and the House of Commons.   

 The Honourable Senate Speaker George J.Furey, the officials from the Global Affairs Canada and other dignitaries attended the inauguration.

The Canada-Mongolia Parliamentary Friendship Group was first established in the Canadian Parliament in 2003. The dialogue between the legislative bodies and legislators of Mongolia and Canada have made a valuable contribution to strengthening our shared values and bilateral cooperation.
