MEETING WITH SPEAKER OF HOUSE OF COMMONS

On September 16, 2024, the Honourable Greg Fergus, Speaker of the House of Commons of Canada hosted a Garden Party for the Heads of the Diplomatic Missions in Ottawa at his official residence - the Farm in Gatineau, Quebec.

Meeting with Ambassador of Mongolia E.Sarantogos during the event, Speaker G.Fergus emphasized satisfaction with the successful development of the Mongolia-Canada Comprehensive Partnership relations. He also expressed support to strengthening the friendship between the two countries, especially, for promoting inter-parliamentary exchanges.

The Honourable Greg Fergus also mentioned that the official visit paid by the Honourable George Furey, then Speaker of the Senate of Canada, to Mongolia in October 2022 gave an impetus to the intensified bilateral relations between our nations.
