AMBASSADOR SARANTOGOS ERDENETSOGT DELIVERED A LECTURE ON MONGOLIA’S FOREIGN POLICY TO STUDENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF OTTAWA
On January 29, 2026, Her Excellency Sarantogos Erdenetsogt, Ambassador of Mongolia to Canada, participated in an online class of the School of Political Studies at the University of Ottawa, where she delivered a lecture on the Mongolian history, Mongolia’s foreign policy and Mongolia-Canada relations.
More than 120 second-year students majoring in Political Studies at the University of Ottawa took part in the online class and received answers from the Ambassador to their questions of about Mongolia.
The students showed particular interest in Mongolia’s partnership relations with its two neighbouring countries and third neighbours, as well as in Mongolia’s development issues, particularly economic and environmental matters. The Ambassador provided detailed answers to the students who represent the future generation to carry the Mongolia-Canada relations on the new opportunities for the bilateral relations and cooperation. She also invited them to visit Mongolia.
The University of Ottawa, founded in 1848, is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Canada and is the world’s largest bilingual university, officially using both English and French in education.
