EMBASSY HOSTS MONGOLIAN CUISINE AND CULTURE EVENT FOR I.C.O. MEMBERS
The Embassy of Mongolia in Canada organized a Mongolian Cuisine and Culture Event for members of the International Club of Ottawa at the Embassy on May 22, 2026.
The event was organized during the Asian Heritage Month in Canada and aimed to introduce Mongolia, the Mongolian people, traditional Mongolian lifestyle and customs, history, traditions, and culture to members of the International Club of Ottawa.
Ambassador E.Sarantogos expressed gratitude to the International Club of Ottawa for providing the opportunity to promote Mongolia in Canada through Mongolian cuisine and national products.
Guests not only tasted traditional Mongolian dishes, but also observed and participated in the cooking process, which helped deepen their understanding of Mongolian national cuisine. The event also featured presentations of Mongolian wool and cashmere products as well as tastings of sea buckthorn products, thus promoting goods made by domestic producers in Canada.

Founded in 1970, the International Club of Ottawa is an organization that aims to help foreign diplomatic, business and academic communities temporarily residing in Ottawa become familiar with Canada, Canadian people, culture, and way of life.
The Mongolian Cuisine and Culture Event aimed at strengthening and deepening people-to-people ties between Mongolia and Canada through cultural promotion.
